We believe that childbirth can and should be a positive experience and we as doulas want to help our customers achieve this. We ourselves are mothers, Heather has three daughters; Ruth, Grace and Honor, Nicky has two daughters; Ella and Imogen.
We have been close friends for 3 years and regularly meet up with our children and it was during these times we both discovered that we felt passionately about enpowering women and their partners to achieve the birth experience they want & deserve.
Through our own experiences, we believe that giving birth can be a really positive experience, something you can enjoy and look back on with fond memories. We feel that having the right amount of emotional support is an invaluable part of the birth process that will help you feel in control and reassured. This led to us setting up 'Little Blessings' to offer this invaluable service.
We have both trained as Doulas through Nurturing Birth and have also completed an Advanced Breastfeeding Course and are both currently members of Nurturing Birth and Doula UK and we strive to reguarly update our knowledge & skills as doulas.
